Short on time? Feel like its too difficult?? We put together a few super quick & easy decor ideas for Thanksgiving. Using mostly items from around our house that we reuse season after season. We hope you can take these ideas & create some special decor for your home.
- These large frames, shown here on the mantle, have been used many times before for parties & room decor. Using clips, we attached faux leaves that we simply wrote a letter out with a sharpie marker. Spelled out “Be Thankful”. The other frame holds a wreath tied on with a fall ribbon. The small white frame holds a free printable we found online, simply printed on home computer & taped to the back of that frame.
- Using the sharpie marker, we wrote t h a n k s across small white pumpkins, on the mantle.
- “Give Thanx” written in chalk & framed, perched on a tray full of candles, fall pumpkins that have the warm rich color of fall. The frame has been used for the past 3 seasons & the only difference is the chalk written message & what is attached to the frame.
- We have a tradition of sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner, saying grace, then each person saying what they are thankful for. This year, as our family & friends are having appetizers we will have our jar of thanks. Each person will write something they are thankful for. Then when we sit at the table for dinner, we can pass around the jar & we can each read one out loud. The jar has a chalkboard sticker & just hand wrote the words using a chalk marker.
Maybe it’s time for some new traditions mixed with the old.
From our homes to yours, we wish you a very happy, healthy & wonderful Thanksgiving!
