Creating a Spooky Halloween Mantel on a Budget can & should be a lot of fun…
Halloween decorations can seem scary in more ways than one! They come in so many different styles & budgets. This mantel is decorated using items all very affordable-
- Dollar Store– Rats, Bats, Charms, Black Pumpkins, Webbing & Spiders.
- Previously Owned: Automatic Candles, Vases & Candle Holders
- Trader Joes- The Real Pumpkins and the Pumpino Plant Branches. We LOVE Pumpino Plant Branches! They’re decorative, beautiful & have amazing color. And best idea- we plan to dry them & use them next year! (Pottery Barn charges $19.50 for 15 dried pumpinos!! looks like the 2 vases have quite a lot of them- we LOVE a frug-elegant deal!) **Artificial pumpino branches are a great option if you rather not use the fresh branches. Plus, you can reuse them each Fall.
2 automatic tealight candles were easily made black by using a sharpie marker. And stripes/lines were added to some small pumpkins. Fast & Easy & makes them go with the mantel decor perfectly.
You can go for less scary, more scary -whatever you like. Trying to be a little scary, the rats & the mask spook it up a bit. Adding the automatic candle behind the dollar mask does the trick!
