A Beautiful Engagement Party

Love is in the Air, Wedding Engagement!

I thought I would share our families engagement and celebration. We took a family cruise to celebrate our younger twin daughters college graduation, and was fortunate to have my blog partner & her husband sailing on the same ship!  After the trip my daughters boyfriend joined us in Amsterdam.

She thought they were taking a walk to the flower market, he had set up a private museum tour and proposed in the garden. He also arranged for a canal boat to pick up the family, meet them to ride along the canals and celebrate. What a beautiful day!

Here are some ideas that may help you with your upcoming celebrations~I purchased discount small frames $2-$3 from Gator Bobs, each table had a photo of the engagement day and a souvenir from Holland, I also printed parent & grandparent wedding photos. The prints in the frames & chairs were all free online. We hosted a brunch, champagne bar with frozen fruit, juices and bloody Mary fixings.

My daughter made the banner above the buffet table, so cute! The frames in the back of the candy & dessert table were from Room with a Past, my husband stapled in chicken wire and sprayed white. Table runner was burlap from Beverlys, I used their coupon and cut them in the size I needed.
