Gold Spray Painted Bottles

02/24/2015 By frugelegance@aol.com 10 Comments

DIY Wine Bottle to Gold Vase | FrugElegance | www.frugelegance.com

Easy Gold Spray Painted Bottles – An Elegant Wedding Decor up cycle making bottles into Elegant Gold Vases. Perfect for any wedding, party, celebration & home decor.

Items needed: Gold Spray & several empty bottles!

We used a store brand spray paint from our local hardware store for only $5.99. But some of our favorite other options are the 24k Gold Spray Paints by Krylon & Design Master.

Bottles should be clean & dry. Removing the labels & any label glue is important to insure the finished painted bottle will be smooth. First, soak bottles in warm soapy water to remove lables. Dry thoroughly before spray painting.

Spray light coats of the spray paint on the bottles. Must be careful to not spray too much in one spot or the paint can drip. (Always follow manufacturers instructions for proper use.)

Gold Spray Painted Bottles look fabulously elegant & there are so many ways to decorate even further. We were going for the “Simple Elegance” look. Come see our DIY Elegant Wedding Decor post where we use these gorgeous gold bottles & lots more.

I knew my collection of husband’s bourbon bottles will come handy. The bottles look very neat and I didn’t want to throw them away. Thanks for the idea! Pinning to my DIY decor board:) Visiting from “Show and Tell” party!
