Wine Box Spring Vase | FrugElegance | www.frugelegance.comSTOP! You might not want to throw that away- FrugElegant Decor can be created from items we usually toss into the recycle bin! We are so happy to be participating in the blog series “Craft Lightning: Recycled Crafts”. Projects using recycled items & also take 15 minutes or less to create.

Our Spring Vase Centerpiece – 4 pasta sauce jars (can be any brand!), and 1 wood wine bottle box (the kind that would hold one single wine bottle). We purchased: 2 drawer handles & small size screws at our local hardware store. We already owned the small chalkboard. Another option would be to paint chalkboard paint directly onto the wooden box.

Simple instructions:

  • We attached handles to a wine box & since the screws were silver we used a black sharpie marker to match the handles.
  • Tied some yellow ribbon around the jar tops. Another option that would take a few extra minutes would be to glue some jute around the top rim to give a rustic elegance to the vases.
  • Used a small tack to hang a chalkboard sign on the front

There are so many fabulous options for this project. Have fun creating your one of a kind FrugElegant Decor!

Our Up Cycled Project is being shared along with other blog friends & their projects in a series called “Craft Lightning 15 Minute Crafts: Recycled Crafts”, hosted by 3 awesome blogs- The Country Chic Cottage, 30 Minute Crafts & Creative Green Living! Check out all the awesome recycled crafts being shared!

Thanx Patti! We were also thinking it would look nice holding some small planters too. So many options.
